Who we are
At Academy of Arts Yazoo City, our dance classes offer advanced technical training that sharpen skills and nurtures artistic expression. Students are challenged to develop discipline, creativity, and emotional depth. We emphasize that these talents are gifts to glorify God, guiding students to pursue excellence in the arts with a purpose beyond themselves.
Complete Training
Academy of Arts offers instruction in ballet, jazz, contemporary, performance opportunities, and more. Classes are geared toward beginner to intermediate level students ages 3-15. We are located at First Baptist Church, Yazoo City, and classes take place after school hours Tuesdays through Thursdays. Our goal is to train not just the dancer, but the whole person.
